It's starting to look like Christmas!

My house is starting to finally look a bit like Christmas!  Since this is my first Christmas with a red theme in my family room it was fun to decorate in the traditional Christmas colors.  The rest of my house I do in pinks of course!
I painted this santa back in 1979 when I used to do ceramics.  He looks pretty good for his age doesn't he?
If you can read upside down you can see the date is Dec. 10, 1979.  I used a very thin paint brush to do the writing.  Must not have known about pens in those days. LOL
I bought these beauties at the Bellagio Hotel's gift shop a few years ago at half off.  They actually survived the flight home. :)
This cute tart warmer is from Yankee Candle.

The sugared tree and the evergreen tree are from Crate and Barrel.
I got this cute santa stocking last year at Macy's Christmas store.

Remember I told you I bought Mike a leather recliner from Ethan Allen for his birthday?  Well here it is!  I was really worried about buying an all red chair but I think it looks pretty good and he is very comfortable in it so that is what really matters!
Happy Decorating!

Pink Saturday...The Bellagio At Christmas!

A few years ago Mike and I stayed at the Bellagio right before Christmas.  Their conservatory was decorated so gorgeous I just had to share this with you.  Had I been a blogger back then I think my pictures would have been a little bit better and a few more close ups.  But you can still see how lovely they decorate.
See the lady in the pool of cranberries?  She is replacing the roses in the topiaries.  That must be an endless job!
The bear is covered in white flowers.
I love this garland and the big bows!
Aren't the ornaments gorgeous?
I have no idea who this couple is but they look cute in front of the tree so I didn't want to crop them out.
I took the last three pictures when we were there last month from inside their gift shop.

Thanks for joining me today.  Thank you to Beverly from How Sweet The Sound for hosting our fun Pink Saturday!

Pink Saturday...the last of my Las Vegas trip!

I can't believe how fast the week went and we are now in November!  Daylight savings time is ending which never thrills me. I would love for it to last all year long.  The pictures I'm sharing for Pink Saturday are the last of my Las Vegas pictures.  These were taken at the Wynn Hotel.  It's probably my 2nd favorite hotel next to The Bellagio.
The entrance of the Wynn!

It's almost like walking through a park!
I think these are gorgeous!
Their mosaic floors are beautiful!
Their ceilings and light fixtures are no exception!
Their shops have lovely things but are quite pricey!
This is the waiting area inside their cafe. I loved their couch but it really isn't pink.  The setting on my camera got changed somehow and it turned everything pink.  It's pretty though isn't it?  It's really green!

Thanks for joining me today.  Thank you to Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for being our host every week.  Make sure you stop by and see all the other pink posts.  Have a great weekend  and enjoy your extra hour of sleep!  I'm collecting on my birthday dinner raincheck tonight now that the world series is over.  Mike and I are going to have a yummy dinner at a restaurant in Old Sacramento.  I need to remember to bring my camera this time!  :)
