Dont you think the "uneven" crusts of homemade looks so much more delish that the assembly line ones in the store. Those tastey crusty bits that fell off are the best part! I hope Ms Baker Sophie got to sample those :-)
Your first aide kit is absolutely charming and I'm in awe of your painting skills!! Get those brushes out again girly!
Hugs, Lynn
P.S. Gotta love Costco!Lynn-Teacupstitcheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01335356167438075401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735451651978774214.post-59302788026127550232010-09-22T20:36:06.929-07:002010-09-22T20:36:06.929-07:00Yummy, yummy!Yummy, yummy!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00264761377044908551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735451651978774214.post-40383515658887588972010-09-21T18:25:54.266-07:002010-09-21T18:25:54.266-07:00Darling first aid kit! Your peac...Hey, Denise, I'll be right over!!!! Your peach pie looks DELISH, and I LOVE peach pie. So put the tea kettle on, and I'll join you for a tea break!!

A couple years ago, I started making my pie crust in the food processor. Instead of using a pastry cutter to mix the butter in (I use butter, not shortening), I now just pulse it in the food processor. It makes whipping out a pie crust SO easy.

We, too, love The Food Network. I have a daughter who intends to attend culinary school, so Food Network is among her favorite networks. She also subscribes to The Food Network magazine, and you know, we DO eat alot of the recipes. In fact, last night, she made a caramel apple cake (DELISH) and a chili chicken and fry dish, both recipes from the most recent issue of that magazine. I don't think I would be trying most of the recipes, but my daughter is always willing to try something new.

Have a lovely evening,
PattiPatti https://www.blogger.com/profile/12931836399684850729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735451651978774214.post-7002065734632269182010-09-21T12:53:04.268-07:002010-09-21T12:53:04.268-07:00HELLO DENISE....
