Happy Pink Saturday!

It was tough taking decent pictures again today as we are in the middle of a big storm!  They even said there was a chance of snow!  It's pretty unusual but it has happened. December 2009 we had a teeny tiny bit.
I know those of you who shovel snow all the time are laughing pretty hard right now! lol  This was a big deal for us here in California!  We have snow in the forecast for tonight but so far nothing!

For my pink Saturday post I wanted to share some of my picture frames I've collected over the years.  I love displaying family photos throughout my house and I love to put them in fancy frames!

Make sure you visit Beverly at How Sweet The Sound to see all the beautiful pink Saturday posts.

Have a great weekend!

  11. Hi Denise,
You should see the snow we have here at my place!! We have the biggest bank on our front step!
Absolutely love your frames! I love pretty frames too but I don't have as many pretty ones as you have. I love the handpainted roses, the mosaics, and the toile!
Love the pink toile wallpaper in your previous post too! Pink toile makes me swoon like crazy!
BTW, I adore Barry Manilow's singing! I could spend the day on your blog just listening to his wonderful voice!
Happy Pink Saturday and thanks for sharing a scrumptious post.

  15. Dearest Denise,

Found you at Rebecca's blog and couldn't resist your All Over Roses blog! Loving Angels & Roses is MY theme for life besides working hard! Beautiful frame, the one with the bride and two flower girls... One other frame looks very much à la Rebecca.
Have a great week and no more snow for your region...

    Love,

  18. Hi Denise, I am so happy you came by for a visit. I have a question for you. How lucky for me that you have the same laundry bag. As I was posting I was trying to remember where I bought that bag. I know it came from a catalog. It's the same catalog where the wooden clothes came from. I can't remember the name of it. Up until now, I had forgotten all about it, but I remember they had the cutest things. Do you recall the name?
On another note, I have that same statuary angel as yours on the right hand side. The EXACT same one. We are alike my friend, Char

  20. Yes girlfriend, we do have many things in common. I don't know if you know this, but I am born and raised in Sacto, CA!! Almost neighbors. I left the state after I married, but both our children were born in Sacto.
After my pink saturday comment to you about the angel statuary we have together along with the birdbath, I got to thinking and I couldn't stop. My hubby was in the Air Force and we spent 30 years in the military. One of the last assignments he had was at Travis. I used to go to the flea market at Galt. I bought a lot of statuary from Ralphs and also from Nomailes. (I am not too sure of the spelling there) I wondered if that is where you buy yours.
When we moved to AZ after retirement, we went to the Phoenix Home and Garden show and low and behold, there was Ralph!!!! It's like a piece of home 4 times a year. Love it. Let me know where you get yours, I am so curious sweet one. Have a wonderful week. Are those your beautiful doors on the right hand side of your blog.......gorgeous!! Char
