Happy Pink Saturday...A Bit More of Vegas!

One of my favorite things to do when I'm in Vegas (besides going to see Barry) is seeing what's new at the Bellagio Conservatory.  We didn't stay there this time but I made sure we went to visit!  To my surprise they had torn down their summer decorations and were beginning to build fall.  Yikes what a shock this was!  Boy talk about seeing it at it's worst!  I do have a whole new appreciation for the work that goes into their display.  This is what I saw! I only wish I was going back to see it all finished!  Just kidding Mike! :)

For some reason I always thought it would be women doing the decorating...maybe they take over when it's time to do all the flowers.  For those of you have been to the Bellagio Conservatory you might not have seen it look like this.

The rest of the hotel is still gorgeous so I couldn't resist sharing it with you.

Happy Pink Saturday...My Anniversary Trip

Thank you for the anniversary wishes you left me last week.  Mike and I had a great 40th anniversary in Vegas.  I thought I would share some of our trip with you.  We bought last minute tickets to see Terry Fator who won America's Got Talent Season 2.  If you ever get a chance to see him I thoroughly recommend it!  He is so talented it's unbelievable!  I'm so glad I decided to buy last minute tickets.  For those of you who aren't familiar with him he is a singing ventriloquist.  His voice is amazing and the fact he sings without moving his mouth makes him even more talented.  He imitates women singers are well as men! Check him out on youtube you'll be amazed.

Barry's show was on our anniversary!  It was a terrific show as always!

After the show we had dinner reservations at Lakeside restaurant at the Wynn where we stayed.  We had a wonderful table outside.  They have a very nice water show going on while you eat.

As you can see the water fall changes color throughout the show.  The frog eventually disappears behind the water fall.

Mike surprised me with a cake after our delicious dinner.

Happy Pink Saturday~Our 40th Anniversary!

I can hardly believe Sunday will be our 40th anniversary.  It doesn't seem possible!  Where did the years go?  When I look back I think WOW we were only 20 years old!  We were just kids!  Mike and I are going to Las Vegas tomorrow for a few days.  YES I have tickets to see Barry!  When I saw he had a show on September 11th I couldn't resist.  Our real celebration is a Caribbean cruise next month but I figured we needed to do something on the day of our anniversary.  When I told him Barry had a show that night he was overjoyed not too excited! lol  He has seen Barry more times than I think he would like!   Lucky for me he usually comes around!
