My Newly Renovated Bathroom
I couldn't find anything to watch on TV tonight so I thought I would post some pictures of our new bathroom. We had a soaking tub where the sit down vanity is now. I am not a tub person and I got very tired of cleaning dust and hairspray film on it!!!!! I don't want to clean something I don't use so off to the dump it went! We pretty much ripped out everything in the bathroom and started over. I gave a picture I found on the internet to my very talented contractor. I look back at the picture now and boy my cabinets are way prettier than the picture I gave him! :) We retiled the shower with a porcelain tile that matches the marble countertop without the worry of taking care of marble in the shower. I'm thrilled with the results!

My New Christie Repasy!
The other day I shared with you the beautiful treasures I bought from Christie Repasy at the Roseville Antique Market. The picture I was waiting for arrived today! Isn't it gorgeous? I picked the frame from a photo she sent me. I couldn't be more thrilled. The colors blend perfectly with my new sofa and chair.

Tea Cup Tuesday!
I have long admired Lady Carlyle by Royal Albert. I love the multiple colors and the pattern is so pretty and sophisticated! I found quite a few offered on Ebay. I first bought a tea cup but I knew it wouldn't stop there. Since then I found a tea pot, sugar and creamer and a beautiful bud vase. Having a table set in Lady Carlyle would be the ultimate setting for an afternoon tea. That might take some searching!

Tea Cup Tuesday
Last week I wrote about my aunt giving me my very first tea cup for my birthday many years ago. This beautiful tea cup called Serenity by Royal Albert is the one! It has always been my favorite. I love the dainty style and the soft colors. I also love that someone so special gave it to me! Thank you Auntie Kay for starting my collection for me!

Barry Manilow!
My hubby asked me last night if I was going to post a shrine to Barry Manilow(my favorite singer) on my new blog. I said "ha ha very funny". Then I got to thinking ( hmmm) what a great idea! Heaven knows I have a ton of pictures! :) I drag my hubby all over the country to see him! I don't know why he keeps threatening to sell his tickets! :( We were in the audience at both of his PBS shows in Las Vegas and New York. Last October a couple of days before my birthday ( I used that as an excuse to see another show) we saw him perform at the Hollywood Bowl. What an amazing night! I think he likes the shows more than he admits! A couple of years ago he surprised me with the most amazing Christmas present ever. It was a platinum ticket to his show in Vegas which includes a front row seat and meeting him in person! What a thrill it was! My hubby was thrilled too...he got to sit in the sports bar while I was having my platinum experience! Go figure! |

A Few Of My Tea Cups!
Many years ago my Auntie Kay gave me my very first china tea cup for a birthday present. It was the start of something wonderful! I love displaying them throughout my house. Having tea parties has become one of my favorite ways to entertain!
Grooming Day!
Not one of Sophie's favorite things since it interferes with her nap! She has pretty new pink gingham bows!

My Baby!
If it ever stops raining she can come out of the garage! My 3 year old grandson asked me "Is that your race car Gramma" ? I said, yes it is!
