My Newly Renovated Bathroom


I couldn't find anything to watch on TV tonight so I thought I would post some pictures of our new bathroom.  We had a soaking tub where the sit down vanity is now.  I am not a tub person and I got very tired of cleaning dust and hairspray film on it!!!!!  I don't want to clean something I don't use so off to the dump it went!  We pretty much ripped out everything in the bathroom and started over.  I gave a picture I found on the internet to my very talented contractor.  I look back at the picture now and boy my cabinets are way prettier than the picture I gave him! :)  We retiled the shower with a porcelain tile that matches the marble countertop without the worry of taking care of marble in the shower.  I'm thrilled with the results!

    Hi Denise!
    Oh my your new bath is as pretty as I KNEW it would be!!! And GASP! The vanity table is fabulous you lucky lady you! And such sweet vanity bottles and a baby pincushie too :-)
    Our house will be 100 years old next year and we have a big ole clawfoot tub but NO SHOWER! OHhhh what I would give for a shower right about now! I can just look at yours and dream!

    I'm right there with you on the cleaning thing....I use lots of hair product and it DOES go everywhere....Love the finished results. It's sooo lovely.
