Mosaic Monday!

For those who saw my post for Saturday you know it was my 39th anniversary.  We spent the day watching our granddaughters play soccer.  Later that night we went to dinner at The Tower Bridge Bistro on the Sacramento River.  The restaurant is inside the Embassy Suites Hotel.  Of course I forgot my camera so I had to use my iphone.  The pictures are never good but better than nothing I guess.

The yummy dinner!

The french onion soup was so good.  I loved how they served it in an onion sitting on a bed of rock salt.  I've never seen it presented that way before.  The cheese was dripping down the sides!  As you can see from the picture I enjoyed it!  I couldn't finish my dinner or I should say I only took a few bites.  Between the yummy french bread and the soup I was getting full.  I had to save a little room for coffee and dessert.  My dessert was caramelized bananas in a sweet tart shell with cream. It did have a shorter name but I can't remember it. :) It was really good though and I'm glad I saved room for it.

Thank you to Mary at the Little Red House for hosting Mosaic Monday.

  1. The photos don't look like they've been taken with a phone camera, especially arranged in the mosaic. I love the food photos too. Congratulations on 39 years.
