My Very First Pink Saturday!

I am excited to be participating in my first Pink Saturday.  I would like to thank Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for hosting such a fun event.

For my first Pink Saturday I thought I would share with you my newly transformed guest room.  After my son got married I decided to do his room over from the boring white walls to blue.  I have always loved blue and white toile so I painted the whole room in a very pretty blue.  I purchased Laura Ashley bedding called Sophia all in blue and white.  Although I liked it I felt it didn't flow with the rest of the house being all in pinks.  Last year when we did all of our flooring over in our house I figured this was my opportunity to turn my guest room pink.  I am so happy I did.  I used Laura Ashley Burgundy #4 for the walls.  I did this color in my living room a few years ago and I really loved it.
I changed from the king size bed I had to a day bed.  It doesn't take up nearly as much room.
The vanity is from The Bella Cottage.

The curio and desk are from The Bella Cottage

I love the valances Calico Corners did for me.

I still have some blue things I can't part with.

Thanks so much for joining me today.  I hope you enjoyed your visit.

Welcome to the best of pinks in all of blogland. You have the most exquisite share for a first. I love this room. As much as I love blue and toile, I am thrilled for you with this Room of pink. My gosh the color is so soothing. The daybed is perfect.

I am absolutely drooling over the beautiful vanity, curio and desk from The Bella Cottage. They are just the perfect touch. And your little swag curtain, love, love, love it. So enjoyed seeing that little pop of green.

Now that little stack of blues in the corner, just tickled my little blue lovin heart. Some things we just can't part with. A beautiful room that I am sure you have guests lined up down the sidewalk waiting for a number to be able to spend the night there. They won't want to leave sweetie.
