Happy New Year Everyone!

I can't think of a better way to start the new year than having my son Brian the K-9 Deputy for January on their new calendar.  This has been a work in progress for quite some time.  XSight Photography of Sacramento, California donated all their time to create this amazing calendar.  The proceeds go to the Sacramento Sheriff's K-9 Association to help with medical and funeral expenses for the retired K-9's.  Once the dogs retire the county no longer is financially responsible for these beautiful dogs.  Without the generosity of these wonderful people none of this would be possible.  The sacrifices these brave dogs make each and every night is amazing beyond words.  You can see more of the calendar and purchase one at SSDK9.com.  My son said the response has been amazing!  They have been shipping them all over the world.

This is the cover of the calendar showing the badge they wear every night when they go to work.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are having a great New Year's day!
