Spring has finally arrived here in sunny California! It's hard to believe last week we had storms with 50 mph winds and this week has been so lovely and has reached 80! My plants are so much happier! Since it's so beautiful outside I decided to share the few things I have blooming right now. First, I just wanted to say thanks for the get well wishes. This has been the strangest bug I have ever had. First it was a chest cold then when I got way too happy that I was feeling better it went to my head! :( Then when I started to feel better again it went back to my chest and now I have laryngitis too! Lucky for me I can post this without saying a word! lol
Sophie was way too tired from her morning at the salon to model her new pink bows so I had to take the picture during her nap! I'm not sure how a dog who doesn't go outside except to go potty can look so bad after a month. When I pick her up I swear they must have switched dogs cause she looks so pretty!
Thank goodness for azaleas or I wouldn't have any color in my yard now.
My lemons managed to survive the terrible winds!
I even found some strawberry blossoms from my little plants I bought last year.
My million bells are loving the sunshine too!
My Japanese maple with all it's new growth.
I saved the best for last...the beautiful blue sky! We weren't sure when we were ever going to see it again!
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you all have a lovely weekend. Mine will be filled with with our grandchildren's baseball, soccer and softball games. Make sure you visit Beverly at How Sweet The Sound to see all the other wonderful pink Saturday posts.
How cute Sophie looks all curled up & cozy sleeping in her pink bed :) She looks so sweet with her pink bows ~ Your flowers are lovely; it will be some time yet before I'll have any flowers to see in my gardens, as it's till way to cold out for them :( I'm anxious to see how many of the Peony plants survived that I transplanted last fall!! Fingers crossed!!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful & Happy Pink Saturday :)
Warmest hugs, Brenda
