There is no sign of spring here yet I'm afraid. If my roses weren't covered with all it's new tender growth I would think we were still in the middle of winter! There have been tornadoes believe it or not here in California. Very unusual believe me! We have had the most miserable storms I can ever remember. I've been sick all week with a cold to make things worse. :( I am not good at laying around when I'm sick so I decided to do some more creating.
I've had this bunny lamp for years and the shade was looking a bit ragged so I gave it a makeover just in time for Easter. I removed the old fabric which was just a solid ivory. The shade was not really ever very cute. I found this adorable cherub fabric on Ebay that had been discontinued.
I redid it three times before I came up with this. I might leave it I might not...who knows?
I embroidered a linen lingerie bag with the design I showed you last week.
Linen hand towel in a pretty new design.
I made another picture frame using a Laura Ashley plaid fabric. A lot more time consuming than the one I made last week with paper.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a great weekend. Make sure you visit Beverly at How Sweet The Sound to see what all those amazing ladies have to share this weekend.
Hi Denise! Your lingerie bag turned out beautiful! I love the design. I noticed a cute pink pillow behind it with the Rose de Provence label. That is so sweet. Your Laura Ashley fabric looks beautiful on your new frame. Great work! Happy Pink Saturday! Terri
