Happy 3rd Birthday Pink Saturday!

Happy 3rd Birthday Pink Saturday!  I started participating in Pink Saturday last September.  I knew this would be a great event for me since I am surrounded by pink!  My husband commented when I told him I was going to participate...Wow you'll never run out of things to post! lol  Yep and I'm proud of it!  :)  I would like to thank Beverly our gracious host for creating this very fun event for all of us pink lovers!

Last August 3rd we celebrated our Miss Sophie's 15th birthday.  Of course she had pink bows and a yummy cake decorated with pink roses!

These were flowers from Mike for my 60th birthday last October 28.

My little very girlie granddaughter Gracie who happens to be a lover of pink like her Gramma!

A delicious cup of champagne raspberry tea and homemade Baklava!

My pretty pink guest room!

Some pink pretties in my master bathroom!
What's prettier than pink and candlelight?
A pretty pink silk wedding bouquet!
Pretty pinks with a touch of yellow!
My pretty pink giveaway from last year!
Some of my pretty pink faux desserts!
Pretty pink bottle by Cindy Ellis!
Some of my living room pink pretties!
Last but not least my VERY first tea cup given to me by my Auntie Kay many years ago for my birthday.  She couldn't have picked a prettier one!

Hopefully I didn't overwhelm you with too many pink pretties!  Honest I have a lot more!  Thank you again to Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for our very fun event every week!

A special note from a very proud Gramma:

As a lot of you know my granddaughters are very active in sports and I spend a lot of my time at the ball fields.  My twin granddaughter's softball team which happens to be coached by their Daddy (my oldest son Brian) played a very important game last night.  Their team has been in first place the whole season.  Last week we lost our first game which changed the standings all of a sudden.  There was a threat of us not taking first place unless we won last night.  How sad to be in first place the entire season and if we lost it would put us in fourth! Yikes!  Well, you know none of us wanted that to happen!  We started the game off with a very bad inning!  My granddaughter Maddie was pitching and my other granddaughter Lily was catching!  They are known as the dynamic duo.  Maddie struggled in the first inning and walked in two runs.  :(  The game was 2-0 which seemed like forever!  The pitcher on the other team was having a great night.  Maddie got warmed up after that bad first inning and kept them to the 2 runs.  But still this game was looking quite grim until Maddie got up with 2 outs with no one on base...she hit a home run!  Wow!  With two outs the girls all started hitting and my son was sending them running around the bases which totally rattled the other team and we won 3-2!  It brought everyone to their feet!  Like my son told them after the game...NEVER give up!  Brittany the pitcher from the other team sent a text to my son last night congratulating the girls on their victory.  She is 10 yrs. old!  If only adults behaved that way!

Congratulations Roseville Giants you made us proud!
