I mentioned in my last post I was going to Lake Tahoe for the weekend. My twin granddaughters were playing in a softball tournament there. I can't think of a more beautiful place to watch softball games. The weather changes very quickly there and we had a thunder storm pass over during one of the games today. Before you know it the sun was out again. I didn't have very much time for sight seeing but I managed to get some pictures of the lake. A couple of them were taken from our balcony in the early morning while the lake was still calm.
Thank you to the Little Red House for hosting Mosaic Monday!
Such beautiful nature pictures. I used to go to Lake Tahoe more often when I lived in Sacramento. But now I haven't been there for several years. I miss it. It's a wonderful place for a get-away, so calm and peaceful.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Gorgeous view!! How peaceful!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures bring back so many nice memories of when we went to Lake Tahoe, we lived in Antioch! The weather does change fast, I had forgotten that.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby grew up in Sacramento and all three of our sons are in law enforcement, too. Hubby is retired from it, also.
Have a fun, safe and happy trip!

Oh Wowzers Denise!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous place Tahoe is! Can you even imagine waking up to that view every morning! In my dreams :-)
Although the view out your new doors to your pool is equally as fabulous! The closest I'll get to a water view is when our back yard is under water from the rain ha!
Big hugs and Smiles,
Lynn
