We have had a huge amount of rain here in sunny California! I am getting pretty tired of it to tell you the truth! I decided to spend the rainy days doing some crafty things. I got out my embroidery machine that I had not used for quite some time. I had to refresh my memory on how to use it but luckily it came back to me! :) Google fixed my Picasa photo storage issue too. They were having problems with orders being automatically canceled. Thank you to those of you who responded to my cry for help!
The fun thing about this machine is you can walk away and it keeps sewing! All you have to do is come back to change the color of the thread.
A couple of linen towels I finished.
I made myself a picture frame for my beautiful granddaughter's picture.
I made a few lavender sachets for Jill's Rose Cottage Chic web site.
Thanks for visiting me today and don't forget to visit Beverly at How Sweet The Sound to see all the other participants.
Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteLove your projects! So delicate and sweet...

Wow Denise ! Beautiful. I would love to have one of those machines, but since I can't get to the 3 I DO have I need to clear out my sewing room first LOL.
ReplyDeleteWe used to live in Vallejo, kinda miss the Napa Valley.
Happy Pink Saturday !
Oh Denise, that machine works wonders. I love that pattern and the colors. Nice job. You just can't beat something that lets you walk away. I may have to look into that.

A great way to pass time. You should be thankful for the rain. We are having a drought all ready. No rain in months and none coming. I am trying save my yard, but probably will have a high bill.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe I'm admitting this, but I have an embroidery machine, but haven't set it up to do embroidery yet. Just sewing. And I've had it for years. I haven't taken the time to learn, but your projects are so pretty they inspire me to want to one day find the time to get started on some projects of my own.
ReplyDeleteDenise,

Denise, you have such a gift. I so love the lavender sachet, I posted it on my FB profile page with link to Jill's shop and all. You grandchildren are precious. I have 5 also, but they are 4 boys and 1 princess granddaughter. We were at her softball tournament Fri and Sat, hence I am quite late to start visiting, but better late than never. Blessings on your week.

HI Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm way behind getting back to everyone. Your embroidery looks beautiful and my machine has that too, but i never get around to do it. Another to do on my long list. I agree I'm really tired of the rain and I'm in CA too. I know we are spoiled but enough already of this wet stuff! Love all your dollies, I'm a doll lover too and managed a doll shop for 20 years at Hobby City. I'm sure you have heard of it, anyway gotta love them to do that. Have a great week as the sun is trying to peek out! hugs Marilou
