United Air Lines Family Day Part 2!

I should be packing for my trip to Vegas tomorrow but I wanted to share some more pictures with you.  My husband just uploaded his pictures from our United Air Lines Family Day.  Boy it really makes a difference having a big huge lens!

Planes were taking off every few minutes.  Can't get a shot like this with my camera.
Captain Gracie!
My son Darrell is 6' 3" so that gives you an idea how big the engine is.
On October 1, 2010 United officially merged with Continental Air Lines.  This is the first plane showing the new paint with the new logo.  To be honest I don't really like it.  It's kind of boring...it needs more color don't you think?
The Blue Angels heading out for the Golden Gate Bridge.  I didn't get this at all with my camera.  Between the glare and their speed I didn't have a chance.
My husband's name is Mike so of course he had to get a shot of this.
Maddie having a good time on the bungie jump!
Gracie showing off her jumping skills.

Hope you enjoyed the rest of our pictures.  Well I am off to finish my packing.  We are leaving at 4:00am for the airport.  Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

  1. Hi Denise!
Up up and AWAY!! I hope you have a wonderful time in Vegas!
We live 20 minutes from O'Hare Airport and although I do NOT fly - whenever I'm in that area I love to stop along the roadside and watch the planes land and take off right over our heads! It is SO LOUD and exciting. Saw the Blue Angels in Chicago once and there are no words to describe the awesomeness of it.
    Have fun my budster!!
