Tea Cup Tuesday!

Some time back in the 90's I met Betty & Hortacio Platner from Porcelain Treasures. They were selling their porcelain at the Harvest Festival in San Jose.  They were the sweetest couple!  I fell in love with them and all their porcelain.  My mother and I looked forward to the Harvest Festival every year so we could see what new and beautiful things they brought.  I've had many wonderful afternoon teas using Betty's Porcelain Treasures.   It's so much fun to mix and match her tea cups and her beautiful plates.  I sold her lovely treasures on a web site for a few years too.  I hope you enjoyed this weeks selection called Margaret.  I have many more to share with you in the weeks to come.

  3. What a lovely tablescape you have shown us. The porcelain tea set is simply beautiful. And I see you have one of Rhonda's beautiful faux cakes and paper roses :) Isn't she so incredibly talented! I am truly addicted to her sweet cake slices; I now have 10 of them! The cake you have goes perfectly with the tea set! Thank you for sharing this with us.
