Mosaic Monday ~ My Perfume Bottle Collection!
I'm back for my second attempt at Mosaic Monday. Thank you for all the very sweet comments I received last week. My photography needs a lot of work but I'm having fun trying! Today I thought I would share my perfume bottle collection with you. Some of them have a little history which makes them even more special. The center picture is a dresser tray that my mother bought me when I was about 10 yrs. old. It's made by Westmoreland Glass from the early 1960's and has been on my dresser everyday since. Somehow when we moved from our house in 1971 the perfume bottles were lost. A few months ago I decided to search Ebay for them. I was so surprised to find two of them from the same seller! I love Ebay! Now it's complete again!

Hi Denise, so nice to meet you! What a beautiful collection of perfume bottles you have! Made for a very pretty mosaic.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of your mosaic, it makes me feel girly and I do not get that feeling much as I live in a household of 4 males. I am glad you were able to complete your set again, so pretty. Thanks for sharing your beautiful mosaic.
ReplyDeleteHello Denise, nice to meet you. Your collection is beautiful and mosaic is so lovely and romantic.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and sweet comment. I used to live in Sacramento, so I know how hot it gets there. You're right, the Rose Garden neighborhood in San Jose is a dream place to live. I also remember Rose Garden in Sacramento. It's a nice one though not as big as the one in San Jose, and the neighborhood there is quite nice too.
Have a wonderful week; I'll come back to your lovely blog again.

Hi, Denise! I love your perfume bottle collection and you have such a lovely home! I have some Laura Ashley perfume bottles that have been packed away since we moved, two years ago. I have a little shelf that I have all ready to paint. When it's done, I am going to unpack those babies! Hooray! Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspirational "wind at my back" to get it done!
Love, Katy Noelle
