Teacup Tuesday!

Happy Tea Cup Tuesday everyone.  Thank you again to Martha & Terri for hosting this very fun day!  My first tea cup is from Porcelain Treasures.  I just love all of Betty's hand decorated treasures.   This one happened to belong to my mother.  Her guest room was done in Laura Ashley bedding and these pieces were a perfect match.

I just love Chintz don't you?  I love the way all the colors compliment each other. It's not a real fancy cup but with all those pretty flowers and colors it doesn't need to be. Miss Bunny likes it! Someday I hope to have a chintz tea pot too.

Thank you for stopping by...I appreciate all your very kind comments!

  6. Hello Denise- They are both lovely, but the first set is a show stopper to be sure. I like the square bottom. I am partial to square dishes. All of our regular dishes are square. Take care.

  10. Ahhh, my partner in pain! I cannot believe how many people have been afflicted with this horrible illness. We need a foundation, the Sciatica Foundation for Research and Pain Management (SFRP)! But then someone would want to have a Sciatica Walk and well, ummmmm, we Sciatica stricken can't walk can we? But we can always use your sweethearts idea and just get wheeled around in a hand truck :-)
I'm in Bakersfield. I'll have to google just where Roseville is. Oh I just did and you're way up there aren't you? I've been as far as Yuba City. It must be nice and cool there compared to here. Thanks for the kind words about my post on Ugly Shoes :0)

  11. How lovely! The matching tea pot with the cup and saucer are just lovely -- the square of the saucer and bottom of the cup caught my eye. The other cup -- so lovely with all the flowers. Perfect for all the blooming gardens we see now. (Sciatica here too)

  12. I love the teacup with the unusual shape. I'm not familiar with the artist, I could not read the last name, Betty????? I also like the chintz, I only have one and it is not as fine as this one. Thanks for sharing.
